This is a song about avoiding awkward situations, and failing at life because you suck at talking to people.

I avoid, awkward situations,
like the plague, or going to the mall.
I don't like big crowds, and I don't like loud sounds.
Or people talking to their friends.

I avoid, awkward confrontations,
like the ones, followed by a hug.
I don't talk much, and I don't like to be touched.
I guess I'm better off at home.

There is something deep inside me,
ripping through my heart and at my soul.
Redirect me safe and soundly,
to an unmarked grave, beside my broken dreams.
I can't give up though, is what I say to shadows,
